Olympic® Equipment Limited Warranty

Olympic Silver Series lifts are warranted for five (5) years, Olympic Gold Series Lifts seven (7) years, on structural components, and two (2) years from date of invoice on air or electric hydraulic power units, pneumatic power units, cylinders, and major components. Components identified as wear parts including cables, hoses, locks, pullies, sheaves, bushings, pads, slide blocks, including but not limited to rubber, nylon, neoprene, or similar soft materials, are warranted for 120 days from date of invoice. Optional accessories are warranted for 90 days from invoice date.

The Olympic LIMITED WARRANTY is not a labor warranty; it is restricted to defects in materials and workmanship and warranted parts. Olympic does not pay to send technicians into the field to make repairs. No labor warranty is offered or implied. It is mutually assumed buyers of automotive equipment are mechanically inclined or have mechanically inclined employees to perform essential maintenance and or repair services. A list of independent service technicians is available upon request.

Electronic notification of freight damage, missing parts or warranty claims must be received within 24 hours of delivery. No exceptions. All warranty claims must include a written description and photos of the damage, original invoice and ID plate. Insignificant appearance flaws that do not negatively affect the operation of equipment including scratches, dents, surface discoloration or light surface rust on unprotected surfaces, may be incurred during transit. Such damage is not covered by Limited Warranty.

During warranty term the Manufacturer shall repair or replace at their option parts proven to be damaged or defective. This warranty will not apply unless the product has been professionally installed utilizing professional methods and maintained in accordance with the Manufacturers installation, operation, maintenance instructions and standard industry practices. NSF checks, credit card chargebacks and nonprofessional installation of any Olympic Equipment device voids Limited Warranty.

Note: Limited Warranty does not include the cost of Air Express shipping. Replacement parts may require ocean shipping from the factory which may require 45-60+ day lead time. Air express shipping is available upon request at customer expense but is considerably more costly than ocean freight.

Olympic will not be held responsible for damage or losses Olympic determines to be unprofessional DIY installations, unprofessional methods, or outside (outsourced) parts or labor unless specifically approved by Olympic, in advance and in writing. Olympic honors its warranty pledge, however, Customer must notify Olympic Equipment and receive written permission to proceed with “outside” services, parts and or labor if customer expects to be reimbursed.

Limited warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. Limited warranty does not include normal maintenance, wear, adjustments, damage or malfunctions caused by improper handling, nonprofessional installation, abuse, misuse, negligence, carelessness of operation or normal wear and tear. Moreover, Limited Warranty does not cover equipment when unauthorized repairs or alterations have been made or attempted.
