The Olympic Calibration Tool (Part no. ACB-1) is intended for use on Olympic AS800 and A900 Alignment Machines.

Alignment machines require calibration as part of the installation and setup procedure. The ACB-1 Calibration Tool is used for this purpose. Olympics’ calibration system is easy to use. Calibration of all four sensor heads can be achieved in approximately fifteen minutes. Vivid 3D training videos and on-screen prompts combine to make it easier than ever. Once installed and calibrated Olympic Alignment Machines rarely require additional calibrations. Still, many of our customers want the ability to perform yearly maintenance, or simply proactive scheduled maintenance operations.

All Olympic wheel service equipment is designed to make it easy for our customers to identify issues and make simple repairs in their own shops, eliminating the need for time consuming and costly service calls. For these reasons, Olympic offers the ACB-1 Calibration Tool for sale or for rent (Call 866.774.45531 to rent), which saves on the initial cost. The rental has a two-day minimum at $125 daily rental fee. (Customer is responsible for all UPS shipping charges and insurance).

NOTE: We recommend making the calibration tool part of your purchase. Owning the tool is a good investment and saves down time when needed. 

Four Reasons Why Alignment Machines Require Calibration:

1. Voltages may vary. The voltage in our factory may be inconsistent with the voltage at your location leading to differences in 3D image quality.

2. Cross beams are prone to deformation during transportation. Although our cross beams are 3 times thicker than the competition, slight deformations can occur during transportation. When deformations occur, factory data may not be optimal.

3. The lift platform may be inconsistent with the factory calibrated platform level.

4. High usage, impacts, and undiscovered damage can cause irregularities.
