COMPANY POLICIES (DBA Olympic Equipment)


Prices and specifications are subject to change without notice. All orders will be invoiced at prevailing prices at the time the order is entered. While the cost of tariffs and duties have been added local taxes may not have been included and are the customer’s sole responsibility.

Cancellations & Returns & Refunds

Approved returns will require written authorization by Olympic Shop Equipment, manufacturer, distributor, and or seller. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Installed and used shop equipment, accessories, supporting, and installation materials are non-returnable and nonrefundable. Transportation, installation, labor costs, or other services are nonrefundable. All products are non-returnable and nonrefundable thirty days after date of shipment. Special orders, and factory orders (any advance placement order) are non-refundable.

Acceptable returns must be returned to the point of sale in new (unused uninstalled) condition, and in resalable original packaging. Unacceptable returns will be rejected. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Warranted products sourced from outside the U.S. are eligible for free replacement shipping to the nearest U.S. port, leaving additional international shipping costs to be paid by the customer. LTL freight-ship items returned at Olympic Equipment’s expense must be shipped from either a business location with forklift on site or dropped-off/picked-up at customer’s nearest truck terminal. Olympic Equipment will not fund or accept additional shipping services or expenses such as residential pickups/deliveries and/or lift gate loading/unloading services. When a customer requests or insists on additional shipping services, the customer will be solely responsible for the cost of requested services.

Order cancellations and returns either in transit or delivered will be charged a 20% restocking fee, plus actual delivery and return transportation costs, plus 6% credit card cancellation fee (3% transaction fee, plus 3% credit card cancellation fee) charged to businesses by credit card companies. Specifically, the party responsible for cancelling an order incurs the cost of credit card transaction fees, restocking, and any additional applicable costs incurred by the seller. The seller reserves the right to add reasonable circumstantial costs related to order cancellations as deemed necessary.


When problems occur with transportation, products, or installation services we do our best to solve them to customers satisfaction as quickly and efficiently as possible, however since many of our products are imported adequate time must be allowed to receive repair, replacement parts, or supplies as required by circumstances. Olympic Limited Warranty requires professional installation of all devices. Olympic Equipment LLC will not be held responsible for buyer’s decisions, selections, choices, installation methods, usage, or minor variations in dimensions, fitment, and functionality.

Freight damage & missing parts

Insignificant damage that does not negatively affect the operation of equipment including scratches, dents, and surface discoloration, or light surface rust on unprotected surfaces, may be incurred during transit. Such damage is not warranted. See Shipping Policies and Warranty for more information on freight damage and warranty concerns.

Scheduling installations

Installations are paid in full, and in advance. Installations are scheduled on a first-paid, first-served basis. Contact our scheduling department for more information at [email protected].

Forms of payment

We accept most forms of credit card payment, checks, or bank wire transfers. We do not accept Check-By-Phone and only accept Pay-Pal through eBay. We do not offer COD orders or deliveries. Go to our financing page for more details!

Sales tax

We accept orders without sales tax added to 49 states. However, Washington state sales tax is added to all in-state deliveries. Sales tax is based on point of sale location at 9.3%. Out of state buyers are required to pay Washington state sales tax on will-call orders picked up in state. Interstate sales are considered out of state sales, so sales tax will not be added to these purchases.

Out of state customers & sales tax

Interstate sales are considered out of state sales, so sales tax will not be added to purchases delivered out of state. All orders picked up at our Arlington WA. warehouse or delivered in-state will be charged appropriate sales tax.
