UPS and FedEx Ground: Smaller packaged items are shipped to commercial and residential addresses. Alaskan, Hawaiian, and Canadian customers who submit orders on our website will receive a shipping quote after their initial order is completed, at which time these customers must approve their shipping costs before shipping. Contact us for more information.

Delivery Time

We understand that receiving your equipment in a timely manner, and undamaged, is important to you. When the item you order is in stock, it will typically be shipped two to three days after we receive your order. When not in stock, it has likely already shipped from the factory minimizing wait times. If an item is out-of-stock or on back-order, your order will be shipped as soon as it is back in stock. Contact your Olympic sales representative for more information

Local Deliveries & Will-Call Orders

Will-call appointments are required 24 hours in advance. Our Arlington WA shipping department accepts local pickups from 8am to 11am and 1-4pm Monday through Friday, however our shipping department is closed for lunch 12-1pm daily and on weekends. Contact us for more information

Freight Terminals

Less Than Truckload (LTL) freight can be transported for delivery to a freight terminal nearest you, on a freight-hold will-call basis for pick up on your trailer. Freight Terminals will load your device on your trailer at no additional cost. Freight terminals are typically professional, easy to work with, get you loaded and on your way quickly. Will-Call orders often require a pickup appointment. Our shipping department will select a freight terminal near you and forward a Bill of Lading and other shipping information that includes complete contact information for the terminal.

NOTE: Car lifts cannot be loaded into automobiles or onto pickups, a flatbed trailer is required (certain barn door cargo trailers may be acceptable). Contact your freight terminal, or your Olympic shipping department representative (866-774-4531) for further information. WARNING: For safety reasons, freight terminals will not load automobiles or pickup trucks!

Residential Deliveries

The LTL freight carriers (Less Than Truck Load) will ship to residential addresses (+$150) but the area must be accessible by 40’ trucks. A forklift must be onsite at time of delivery or additional redelivery fees will be incurred by the receiver. If you need further information about shipping or delivery please contact us, or your Olympic sales representative.

Packages Left Without a Signature

Signature requests must be made by phone, our website cannot accommodate signature service requests. All packages are shipped without a signature request unless specifically requested by the customer. Requiring signatures often results in too many returns which cannot be delivered and are thus returned to us at our expense. Accordingly, shippers will typically leave your shipment wherever the delivery driver feels is best. Once a package is left at the customer’s location, we are no longer responsible for it; therefore, Olympic Equipment will not be held responsible for theft, or missing packages. When a customer is uncomfortable having a package left at home
the order should be placed over the phone and pay an additional signature delivery fee of $5.

International Shipping

The customer is solely responsible for all customs, duties, tariffs, port fees, and taxes applicable to any international order. Upon delivery the carrier will attempt to collect the country’s necessary import taxes from the purchaser. If the carrier fails to collect import taxes from the customer, Olympic Shop Equipment reserves the right to re-bill customer’s credit card to pay associated import customs, duties, tariffs, and taxes.

NOTE: Due to supply chain issues ocean freight and port congestion is causing significant delays. Please be patient! We will ship your order as quickly as possible. Thank you.

Limited Access Areas

LTL cargo carriers apply a surcharge for what they deem as limited access locations, which is out of our control. These areas include, but are not limited to: farms, ranches, hospitals, schools, government facilities, country clubs, storage facilities, airports, locations with gated access, or any other location that does not meet the carrier’s designation of a traditional business facility. In the event the truck carrier charges Olympic Shop Equipment a limited access fee for customer’s shipment, those charges will be charged to the customer’s credit card after delivery. Feel free to call us before ordering to discover if your location will be charged a limited access fee by the freight carrier.

NOTE: Automotive hoists are too large and heavy for liftgate services. LTL carriers will not allow the customer to unload heavy freight via manpower. The receiver must have a forklift on site or pay the additional charges associated with a second delivery attempt.

False or Inaccurate Delivery Information

LTL (Less Than Truck Load) freight carriers charge extra to deliver to residential addresses, which is a standard transportation industry policy. Olympic had no control over transportation policies. All LTL orders are required to specify the type of delivery location upon checkout. Please do not falsify any information in an attempt to save money! In the event the customer falsifies a business or residential address, or provides incorrect information, the carrier will make necessary adjustments to the freight bill adding to the cost of transportation. Any billing adjustments incurred due to false or incorrect delivery information provided by the customer will be billed to the customer’s credit card. In the event the customer refuses to pay these charges, the customer’s product warranty will be void until the fees are paid. We request that customers be accurate and honest about the type of delivery location during checkout. Please do not place an order unless you are certain of your delivery classification.

Inspecting Your Delivery

The receiving party is responsible for inspecting shipments for damage at the time of delivery. Do not wait. Do not sign your delivery receipt before thoroughly inspecting the package for damaged or missing parts. Remove the plastic wrapping so a thorough inspection can be made before signing the freight bill. Damage or missing parts must be notated on the bill of lading, or your claim will be denied by the freight carrier and Olympic Equipment. Undocumented freight claims are the responsibility of the receiver, not the shipper (Olympic, or dealer). NOTE: The raw steel shipping frames secured to package ends are not part of the device, they are disposable. Damage to disposable shipping frames is not considered freight damage.

When Damage Occurs

Clear photos of the item shipped still in its original packaging are required and must accompany all freight damage and missing parts claims. Clear photos of product identification plate and damage are required before any claim will be accepted. All freight damage and missing parts claims must be received electronically within 24 hours of time of delivery as required by warranty; no exceptions. NOTE: You have the right to accept or refuse your shipment due to damage. WARNING: When damage has not been properly notated on the bill of lading at time of delivery your freight claim will be considered invalid by the freight carrier and Olympic Equipment.

NOTE: Olympic Equipment, and Olympic Equipment dealers are not freight carriers. Transportation services may be arranged for you by an Olympic Equipment representative, however, as consignee you the customer are responsible for resolving any undiscovered, or improperly notated freight claim with the carrier. Olympic Equipment and associated dealers cannot be held accountable for freight damages or losses not noted on the bill of lading!
